It is one of my top recommendations for beginners who want quality and value from their first machine or for a more advanced home barista who prefers pure espresso with only the occasional milk drink. \u003Cbr/> \u003Cbr/> The Go uses a small but mighty 0.4 L single boiler that provides water for both espresso and steam. It is ready to brew in 5 minutes and uses an industry-standard 58 mm portafilter, which means accessories and upgrades are easy to find. The only downside of the Go is the smaller cup clearance and awkwardly placed steam wand, which leads to a crowded front group. Both machines are manufactured by Profitec, showcasing their commitment to quality across different user needs. The differing prices and skill levels suggest that the Pro 400 is aimed at more experienced coffee enthusiasts looking for advanced functionality. In contrast, the Go's lower price and beginner focus make it more accessible for those just starting their espresso journey.","In terms of brewing information, the Profitec Pro 400 features a lever activation system and utilizes a heat exchanger as its primary heating element, providing a flexible setup for brewing. It has a group type of E61 and a heat-up time of 5-15 minutes. Meanwhile, the Profitec Go offers button activation and is powered by a single boiler, with a group type of Ring and a similar heat-up time of 5-15 minutes. Both machines have a water reservoir capacity of 2.8 liters, making them convenient for home use.","When examining the key features, the Profitec Pro 400 includes a PID control, pre-infusion, and gauges for boiler and steam pressure, along with concurrent brew and steam capabilities. Conversely, the Go also has PID control but lacks steam pressure gauge and concurrent brewing features, making it less advanced in that regard. Both machines come with essential elements like steam wands and solenoid valves. However, the Pro 400 delivers a more comprehensive set of features that cater to advanced users, whereas the Go provides a simpler interface ideal for beginners."]
